- The 3′ DNA fragments corresponding to the nucleotides 1030–1122 of DOR2 (NM_21275), from zebrafish was amplified from cDNA by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using primers flanked by EcoRI and XhoI sequences and cloned in the pGEX-6P-1 vector. These plasmids were expressed in bacteria in the presence of IPTG (0.1 mM) to generate recombinant proteins consisting of GST fused to the last 30 (I344-T373) amino acids of oprd1b.
