Does anyone know how long you can store ringer's solution? Do you store it at RT, at 4 or at -20 degrees celcius?
Thanks in advance,
From an online MSDS:
Storage: Store in General Storage Area (Green Storage) with other items with no specific storage hazards. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, locked store room away from incompatible materials.
Stability: Stable under normal conditions of use and storage.
Shelf life: Indefinite shelf life if stored properly
From another site:
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
Thank you for this information. One more question: that it is stable, does that mean you can store it forever, or do I have to change it every 6 months? What would you recommend?
If it is stored according to the instructions, and you have no reason to believe there's been contamination, it can be stored and used forever.
