Principal investigators are invited to attend the 9th Strategic Conference of Fish Investigators (SCZI), which will be held on February 4 - 8 at the National Taiwan University in Taipei. The meeting attendance is limited to 200 in order to enable meaningful discussions.


This conference is geared towards zebrafish and medaka Principle Investigators while welcoming researchers working on other fish models including but not limited to sticklebacks, cavefish, goldfish, and killifish. Plenary sessions will highlight cutting-edge research and technological advances, and there will be numerous concurrent sessions and workshops.

The International Zebrafish Society (IZFS) will be participating in TAGC2020, which will take place on April 22 - 26, 2020 in Metro Washington DC. This is a follow up to the International Zebrafish Conference that took place at TAGC2016. Join us at the opening night Zebrafish mixer! Half of the sessions will be programmed as zebrafish ones and half joint with the other model organisms. Other communities participating include C. elegans, Drosophila, Mammalian, Xenopus, Yeast, and Population, Evolutionary & Quantitative Genetics. A keynote talk will be given by Alex Schier.
