Blog from April, 2017

We are delighted to announce our workshop "Genome Engineering in Zebrafish" on 27/28 June 2017, to be held at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt.

The workshop aims to discuss the latest developments in CRISPR/Cas based genome engineering with the focus on approaches allowing efficient genome editing in zebrafish. The goal is to discuss homologous recombination approaches and knock-in strategies, and is best suited for researchers who already have experience in generating knock-out alleles using TALEN and Crispr approaches. Special attention will be paid to practical tips and efficient protocols, and there will be many opportunities provided for small group discussions with experts in the field.

The workshop is spread over two days, with 6 experts in the field as speakers, and ample opportunity to interact/discuss/ask specific questions. Please see the program on our webpage for details, under the following URL

We can accept up to 100 applicants - please refer to registration details on the webpage.

Best wishes from the organising team, and hope to see you in Frankfurt!
