Hands-on tutorial: Utilising Zebrafish Genome Data

In association with the 10th European Zebrafish Meeting in Budapest, the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and ZFIN, we are pleased to announce a half-day 'Utilising Zebrafish Genome Data' Hands-on tutorial.

Reference data sources
Genome Browsing
Exploring Sequence Variation and Disease
Comparative Sequence Analysis
ZFIN Resources
via presentations and hands-on exercises and is taught by experienced instructors. You will need to bring your own laptop to access the manual and work thorough the examples. This tutorial will cover the basics about the generation of the reference assembly, how genes are built and browsed and how additional genomic features can be identified and interpreted.

When registering for the meeting, you will find an option to also register for the tutorial. The tutorial is not for profit, but we are charging a €50 participation fee to cover the costs for room, equipment and catering. Any problems, please let us know.
