Postdoctoral Position - Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX

The Orengo lab is located in Houston, Texas at Baylor College of Medicine. We are a new lab that will launch August 2020. Our lab uses zebrafish, mouse, and human cell culture models to understand motor neuron biology and mechanisms leading to its degeneration. Human genetic mutations causing motor neuron degeneration are modeled in these three systems to use a cross species approach towards understanding the common mechanisms involved. For more information, you can visit our website at (https://www.bcm.edu/research/labs-and-centers/faculty-labs/james-orengo-lab) or email James Orengo (james.orengo@bcm.edu).
