Postdoctoral Position - Columbia University Medical Center
Postdoctoral position available in the Departments of Pathology and Cell Biology, the Taub Institute, and the Stem Cell Initiative at Columbia University Medical Center.
Directions of research include:
(1) To elucidate mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, using molecular genetic and cell biology approaches.
(2) To develop novel animal and cell models of these disorders, based on recent human genetics advances.
(2) To employ integrative genomics approaches and computational tools towards the identification of etiological factors in neurological disorders of aging.
We are recruiting an outstanding candidate with expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, and genetics. Experience and interest in molecular approaches such as CRISPR, cell imaging tools, stem cell biology, bioinformatics computational tools, or animal models such as zebrafish would be highly desirable.
Please provide a CV, statement of interest, and the names of 2 references.
