Postdoctoral research fellow - MDI Biological Laboratory, Salisbury Cove, ME

The Yin Lab seeks a motivated postdoctoral research fellow, to begin immediately. The Yin Lab investigates mechanisms of heart muscle regeneration and scar tissue resolution in adult zebrafish and mouse models. The lab aims to analyze mechanisms of microRNA regulation of regeneration and to identify small molecules that may augment the limited regenerative capacity in mammals.

Candidates should have expertise in developmental and cardiovascular biology. Experience with mouse models of heart injury is desirable but not required. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits, and is commensurate with experience and education.
