Postdoctoral Position - Center of Psychiatry and Neurosciences in Paris, France

A postdoctoral position is available at the new research group of Guillaume van Niel at the Center of Psychiatry and Neurosciences in Paris, France. The position is financed by the Fondation pour la Recherche Medicale for 2 years and will start between March and end of July 2017.

Van Niel's lab is interested in exosome and lysosome biology in the context of neuropathies among which Azheimer's Disease.

The project aims at investigating the role of modulators of exosome and lysosome biology in the generation, degradation and propagation of beta amyloid. By combining cell biology and biochemistry methods, state-of-the-art imaging methods in cellular and in vivo models (Zebrafish), we will identify unsuspected new regulators of the balance between endosomal degradation and secretion and investigate their relevance in amyloid metabolism.

We are looking for very motivated, hard-working and creative candidates with strong background in molecular and cell biology. Previous expertise in zebrafish models and in neurosciences will be positively evaluated.

Please provide a detailed CV with a list of publications and expertise, a letter of motivation and the names and contacts of two referees to Guillaume van Niel before end of December 2016.
