About the position

The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute's Centre for Dynamic Imaging (CDI) aims to provide access to

cutting edge microscopy services and expertise from across multiple disciplines as well as an

education program to train our next generation of researchers, so we can foster innovation in

biological imaging. Investment in the strategy will profoundly improve researchers’ abilities to

dissect key questions in human disease research.

It will also give researchers the opportunity to push the boundaries of optical imaging, using

technology that is rapidly advancing. This comprehensive and advanced microscopy platform

illuminating the molecular and cellular dynamics of disease.

An opportunity exists for a senior scientist to head the CDI and will involve developing and leading

a research team conducting significant and innovative quantitative microscopy research programs.

Specific goals will include expectations for peer-reviewed publication, research fundraising
