Postdoctoral research positions - Boston University

Our laboratory has recently relocated to Boston University School of Medicine, and have available postdoctoral fellow positions. Our focus is on formation and growth of the zebrafish skull, in normal development and in mutants. Our NIH-funded research program includes projects to describe normal and abnormal skull development using specialized approaches for dynamic imaging in live animals, and the identification and characterization of mutants affecting skull development.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in a relevant field, with a demonstrated track record of research accomplishments, including first author publications. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in relevant areas, such as skeletal biology, live imaging, or zebrafish genetics, those with the likelihood of obtaining independent funding.

Interested applicants should send a CV and cover letter stating research interests to Dr. Shannon Fisher (shanfish@bu.edu).
