Postdoctoral Fellow position - Lerner Research Institute

 

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available to study liver organogenesis, physiology and pathology in the Department of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute.  We use new zebrafish mutants isolated in our lab to investigate the pathogenesis of human liver diseases.  Research projects involve molecular genetic, bioinformatic and intensive computational approaches (http://www.lerner.ccf.org/stemcellbio/sakaguchi/).

We are seeking highly motivated recent graduates with a PhD and/or MD.  Applicants should have research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology or a closely related field.  The ideal candidate will have experience in developmental genetics, bioinformatics and systems biology.  Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
