FACULTY POSITIONS IN MOLECULAR, CELLULAR, AND DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY - UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN

The Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan solicits applications for faculty positions at the assistant professor level, but appointment at a more senior level is possible for applicants with suitable experience. We seek to fill two open positions:  One in neuroscience broadly defined, and one in anyarea of research within the scope of the Department, which includes studies of model organisms (animals, microbes, and plants) using diverse approaches (biochemistry and structural biology, cell and developmental biology, genetics and genomics, molecular biology, and physiology). For the neuroscience position, we encourage applications from scientists who use cellular, genetic, molecular, and/or in vivoimaging approachesThe faculty positions will be tenure track or tenured with a university year appointment starting September 1, 2016 or January 1, 2017.
