Postdoctoral Position - University of Iowa

A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Iowa. Our lab focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that control heart and endoderm development using zebrafish as an animal model. Projects will utilize multidisciplinary approaches including genetics (transgenesis, mutants), in vivo imaging, molecular and cell biology. We are looking for highly motivated, independent and creative individuals with good communication skills. Candidate must hold a recent doctorate in Cell/Developmental Biology, Genetics, or related field. Previous experience with the zebrafish model, imaging, and bioinformatics is preferable.
