Research Assistant I (zebrafish facility manager) - OHSU

The Research Assistant will oversee daily operations of a ~500-tank zebrafish facility in the Nechiporuk lab.  Primary responsibilities consist of facility and systems maintenance, feeding adult and larval zebrafish, accurate documentation and dealing with system repair issues, in consultation with the PI. The position requires accurate facility record keeping, coordination with veterinary staff for regular health inspections, and tracking of supply inventory/pricing.
Bachelors Degree (4 yr)/No Experience, or AA (2 yr)  and 2 years of relevant experience, or No degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience with fish husbandry and aquatic facility maintenance is  a big plus.
Work is generally 30 hours per week during normal working hours, however, some evening and weekend work will be necessary on occasion.
