Faculty Position in Genetics - University of Georgia

The Department of Genetics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in any area of prokaryotic or eukaryotic genetics at the Assistant Professor level. We are interested in strengthening and complementing our existing broad program in Genetics. Applicants researching topics in molecular genetics, genetics of model organisms, or epigenetics are especially welcome. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field, have postdoctoral experience, and will be expected to maintain a rigorous, externally-funded research program and to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
