Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Developmental Biology - Florida State University, Tallahassee

The Department of Biological Science at Florida State University invites outstanding applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the broadly-defined area of Developmental Biology. The Department is interested in individuals using any experimental system to understand fundamental developmental processes, including those of biomedical significance. Successful candidates are expected to establish an innovative, extramurally-funded research program and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education. The Department of Biological Science is a diverse and interactive group with 47 tenure-track faculty members, including scientific leaders in developmental genetics, epigenetics, chromosome biology, neuroscience, evolution, cell biology, structural biology and virology.
